பருவக்காற்று துவங்கியது முதலே ஏற்ற தாழ்வுகளுடன் குறைந்த வேகத்துடன் நகர்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தது,
தற்போது வேகத்தில் சிறிது மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டு தமிழக கடலோர மாவட்டங்களில் நல்ல நிலையை
எட்டியுள்ளது. இதனால் தூத்துக்குடி, திருநெல்வேலி மற்றும் கன்னியாகுமாரி மாவட்டங்களில்
காற்றின் வேகம் உயர்வதற்கான சூழல் நிலவுகிறது. மேலும் வானிலை மாதிரிகளில் அடுத்த
10 நாட்களுக்கு தென் மாவட்டங்களில் காற்று இயல்பாக இருக்கும் (சராசரியாக 7-8 m/s )
என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. வங்கக்கடல் மற்றும் இந்தியா பெருங்கடலில் நிலவிவரும் குறைந்த
காற்றழுத்த பகுதிகளின் காரணமாக ஒருசில நேரங்களில் காற்றின் வேகம் இயல்பிலிருந்து வேறுபட்டு

The northeast monsoon began with low backward slopes and now has a slight change in speed and has reached good standing in the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu. Thus the atmosphere prevailing wind speed in Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts. The weather conditions are expected to be the norm in the southern districts for the next 10 days (average 7-8). The wind speed may sometimes diverge from normal because of the low voltages in the Bengal and the Indian Ocean.
